A significant step in the development of Fyteko … and a new generation of plant biostimulants!
In AgroPages.com, Fyteko announces this morning an exclusive distribution agreement with SUMI AGRO FRANCE to sell Nurspray®.Fyteko aligns itself with the growing consensus that agriculture is in transition, towards a lower-input, sustainable model that delivers on dual fronts: productivity and environmental performance.
Fyteko’s debut product is inspired by a naturally occurring group of molecules known as hydroxycinnamic acids, found within plant cell walls. The scientific team found that once they are modified – a bio-catalytic process, perfected and patented by Fyteko – hydroxycinnamic acids derivative oligomers possessed a hitherto unknown property: the ability to act as a ‘signal’ molecule within the plant. After significant investment in research and trials, Fyteko has successfully brought to market its first patented signal molecule not only as a foliar application (Nurspray®) but also as a seed treatment (Nurseed®) – overcoming the common formulation obstacles that biomolecules can face during commercialisation.

Further similarly innovative, disruptive biomolecules are already progressing through Fyteko’s development pipeline.
