Fyteko had the honor of participating in two pre-COP30 events in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, focused on bioeconomy and sustainable innovation, co-organized by hub.brussels and FIT – Flanders Investment & Trade, ahead of the upcoming COP30 in Belém.
These pre-COP gatherings are more than networking opportunities—they are strategic platforms where global leaders, businesses, and policymakers shape the roadmap for climate action. Discussions were centered on decarbonization, bioeconomy, and resilience, reinforcing the urgency to promote solutions that protect ecosystems and food systems in the face of climate change.

Fyteko’s Contribution to Climate Resilience
At these events, Fyteko showcased how its bio-based agricultural solutions help reduce the impact of climate change by:
- Increasing crop resilience to water and heat stress
- Boosting agricultural productivity sustainably
- Contributing to soil health restoration through bio-inputs applied at low doses per hectare.
These innovations align with global priorities discussed at COP30: adaptation, regenerative agriculture, and reducing dependency on chemical inputs—critical steps to achieving a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.
Why Brazil Matters
Brazil is an agricultural powerhouse—maize alone covers over 25,000 km², and favorable conditions allow up to three harvests per year. This scale presents both challenges and opportunities: while climate volatility threatens yields, sustainable technologies can transform agriculture from a climate culprit into a climate solution.
Fyteko is ready to seize this opportunity and support Brazil’s transition to more resilient agriculture.
